After asking several people to sell them an acre of land, they were successful in finding a man and his wife to sell them a piece of land. The group elected five men to be trustees of this land. These men signed a contract on January 9, 1855, before the Justice of the Peace of Baltimore County. The people of Mt. Zion Church purchased the tract of land for a church and cemetery that they could call their own and worship without any harassment. Today we continue to worship by bringing the gospel online.
Our place at the forefront of digital ministry has always been driven by our passion for seeing technology leveraged to help people find hope, peace, and joy in the incomparable love of Christ. The Mount Zion AME websites are tools we offer to serve our attendees and visitors by connecting them and equipping them on their journey to becoming disciples of Christ.
Since Christ Jesus is the Messiah of the world, Mount Zion AME will depend on Him to build His Church through us to become a global headquarter for gospel-driven missions by the Kingdom family.
Every digital product and service we provide is created with great care and intentionality; our website is designed to help more people pursue a deeper relationship with God safely and securely. We craft these tools as an act of ministry to serve you, and you have choices in your experience. You choose what you access. You choose what you share and with whom. Your data is yours. Mount Zion AME does not sell your information, nor will we share it with others without your consent.
And every aspect of Mount Zion AME’s digital tools is completely free, with no strings attached and no advertising. We intend to remove every possible barrier, so you’re able to focus on getting to know God more intimately.
